Though I did like this book, I enjoyed part 1 much better. I think the mystery surrounding Hunter and Clay in book 1 had me more interested. In this book it just fell kinda flat for me. Cami didnt even feel like the same character to me. I enjoyed their love for one another, but honestly the wedding and the convenient "honeymoon" at the end just didnt fit. Ok fine they accidentally got married, but seriously I thought that Cami would be more shocked than that. Plus with how romantic and in love they are I wouldve thought their marriage and honeymoon wouldve been more romantic, tasteful and meaningful rather than simply an accident and rather cheap. I really hated that part. The other problem I had other than the book dragging on was when Hunter takes Cami home for a day because she had been complaining about not spending time with him, but when he does all she wants to do is talk about Clay and visit his grave!!! I mean really? Lastly, the ending of the book was very rushed and I was diappointed that all of a sudden there was a 2 year jump *sighs*. Anyway, I did like it though 1 was way better. Hopefully 3 and 4 live up to 1. I dont think they shouldve got married so soon but hey whatever.

A plus is that the author did try to keep the book clean. I appreciate that. I hate reading vulgar books with a lot of cursing and sexual content all over the place. I did also notice that she made Cami and Hunter abstain until marriage which is a positive also. Anyway, 3.8 to 4stars is my verdict.

This was just as awesome as the first! one of my favorite series out there! it had action, suspense, thrills and chills. Steaminess. I loved every second. I love these characters! Cami is strong, even though Hunter was undercover again and had to pretend to be someones boyfriend she never let it waver or didn't trust Hunter. And him with her. Hunter is totally sweet and I love him. So hot. Russ is HILARIOUS and was so amusing. I actually found myself liking Ripper in some ways. I felt bad at the end he got set up for something he didn't do. I kinda wished we heard more about what went down with that. There was also a few errors, but did not take away from the story at all. And also I was very disappointed with the sex scenes. All the lead up from book 1 and even this book was steamy and I was expecting more than what I got, some detail. It lacked and was a let down. For that it gets 4.5 stars. If the sex scenes were better and a little bit more, had SOME description and got some more answers it would of been a 5 star for me. I hear there is going to be a third, I cannot see what more there is, it did end very good. But I will be excited to see where that goes! I hope for some more sex scenes and hopefully a bit more descriptive! and so excited to see more of these guys! love them.

Hunter is thrown back undercover and he hates every second of it. One day he simply cannot go without seeing Cami anymore, he meets her and Ripper, the brother of the girl he is now playing boyfriend to stops by and catches them. So Cami is thrown into the undercover world to protect herself and the operation. Little do they know the depth they will have to dive into. Can these two come out unscathed? or will Ripper take away Hunter's one true love?

I love Lacey Weatherford! I have taken to referring to her as my latest obsession because I love everything she writes. She is the Queen of Love for a reason but I also think she's the Queen of the Sequel. Every time she writes a sequel, it is even better than the first, and in the case of Of Witches and Warlocks, every book just got better and better. I love that each of Lackey's stories is different. They are about love, but the rest of the stories are all so different.

But this review is supposed to be about Smitten. What can I say? The story of Cami and Hunter is so sweet. Every girl dreams of falling in love with their very own Hunter. Lacey knows how to write a beautiful love story and also weaves in some excitement and danger to keep the story moving in directions you often don't expect. Bottom line - I loved it! Another thumbs up for Lacey Weatherford!
